BCom CPAMathew Smith has a wide educational background, including a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University, Chartered Tax Adviser, and CPA qualifications. Since starting as a graduate accountant in 2002, he has gained experience in assisting a variety of clients, including medical professionals, property developers, and tradespeople. He also spent four years as the Internal Company Accountant for a family business, so he’s spent time on both sides of the accounting world.Mathew understands that financial and business decisions can be some of the most stressful situations someone can find themselves in. His great passion is assisting his clients in navigating these situations and helping them understand all of the facts and essential information to make the right decision.Mathew understands that no single approach is the right one for everyone, and this is why he loves taking the time to get to know his clients so he can build a business “friendship”. It allows him to tailor his approach and provide the type of service they want.In his spare time, you can find Mathew spending time with his family. This usually involves travel for their dance classes, swimming lessons or bike rides along the South Perth foreshore.
