Adam Pontague has more than a decade of experience in financial services in Western Australia. A strategist at heart, he works with individuals, families and business owners to bring structure and direction to complex situations. His advice spans superannuation and SMSF strategy, personal risk and insurance, investments and tax-effective structuring, with particular strength in government and defined benefit superannuation.
Much of Adam’s work centres on building the right framework around a client’s wealth, looking at how assets, entities and structures fit together to deliver efficient tax outcomes, sound succession and lasting asset protection. He is also a strong personal risk adviser, structuring life, income protection and disability cover so that families and businesses are properly protected. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Financial Planning from Curtin University.
Adam is an AFP® Financial Planner and a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA). He advises across the full superannuation spectrum, from retail funds and wrap platforms through to complex untaxed and defined benefit arrangements, including the GESB West State and Gold State schemes and the Commonwealth CSC and PSS schemes, moving clients from legacy structures to clearer, more tax-effective platforms they can act on with confidence.
